Subject:Attached is the "Taoyuan City 114th Academic Year Full-time Indigenous Language Teacher Self-Organized Collaborative Learning Professional Learning Community Implementation Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "City Indigenous Education Center") from the Taoyuan City Government Indigenous Education Resource Center. Please forward this to your school's Indigenous language teachers and encourage them to apply. Thank you for your attention.
Explanation:
1.In accordance with the 114th academic year plan of the City Indigenous Education Center.
2.To meet the self-enhancement and teaching needs of Indigenous language teachers in our city, this project encourages full-time Indigenous language teachers (hereinafter referred to as "full-time Indigenous language teachers") and Indigenous language teaching support staff (hereinafter referred to as "Indigenous language teaching support teachers") in our city to form professional learning communities. The Indigenous language teachers will independently plan community learning content based on the professional development needs of their peers, in order to effectively improve their teaching professionalism and student learning outcomes. Therefore, the aforementioned plan is being implemented.
3.The application method and subsidy principles for this project are as follows (details are in the attachment):
(1)Implementation Period: From the date of approval to July 30, 114.
(2)Implementation Principles:
1.Community Convenor: Full-time Indigenous language teachers will serve as community convenors to independently form groups (can be cross-school). Based on the professional development needs of the community teachers, they will plan the curriculum content and invite lecturers.
2.Community Members:
(1)Invite Indigenous language teachers in our city (including full-time Indigenous language teachers and Indigenous language teaching support teachers) to participate. A group can be formed with at least 5 people. The application will be submitted by the primary employing school of the community convenor.
(2)Each Indigenous language teacher is limited to joining one community.
3.Community Operation Model: Please consider both "process" (including collaborative preparation, workshops, and professional dialogue) and "output" (including public lesson observation and curriculum development), and set clear goals towards an "output-oriented workshop" model.
4.Community Operation Time:
(1)During the semester: Primarily during after-school hours, after work, and on weekends.
(2)Winter and Summer Breaks: (Except for the school's scheduled preparation days) there are no restrictions. The focus is on teacher self-enhancement. Participants will be granted official leave, but no substitute will be arranged.
5.Community Outcome: 1 copy of the outcome report (including the community operation process, reflections, and at least 1 teaching plan design).
6.Subsidy Content: A total of 10 communities will be subsidized, with a principle of NT$20,000 per community. Each school is limited to applying for one community. Subsidy items include lecturer fees, teaching material and equipment fees, meal expenses, and miscellaneous expenses.
4.Application Period and Method:
(1)Application Period: From September 16, 114 (Tuesday) to October 17, 114 (Friday).
(2)The community convenor shall fill out the application form (Attachment 1) and the budget estimate form (Attachment 2) and submit them to the primary employing school for application.
