| 1. | In accordance with the letter from National Taipei University, dated September 15, 114 (NTUPC-ADV-1141800545). |
| 2. | According to the National Language Development Act, Taiwanese Sign Language has been incorporated as a national language and included in the compulsory curriculum for the twelve-year basic education. To meet the demand for Taiwanese Sign Language teachers, the Ministry of Education continues to provide training for Taiwanese Sign Language teaching support staff. |
| 3. | To promote the widespread adoption of Taiwanese Sign Language education and to enable more people to learn and engage with Taiwanese Sign Language, thereby enhancing their understanding and communication with Deaf individuals, National Taipei University is offering a Basic Course in Natural Taiwanese Sign Language. This course is suitable for beginners, with face-to-face instruction designed to make sign language accessible and a part of everyday life, starting from scratch. |
