2.Due to the recent increase in influenza outbreaks, to prevent group outbreaks of influenza, in accordance with the "Guidelines for Influenza Group Prevention in Schools/Kindergartens/Cram Schools/After-School Care Classes and Centers," various prevention measures are being implemented to ensure the health of faculty, staff, and students by adhering to the principle of "no work or class when sick."
Guidelines for "No Work or Class When Sick":
1.Faculty, staff, and students (or children) with suspected influenza symptoms should wear masks and practice good hand hygiene..
2.If faculty or staff discover students (or children) with suspected influenza, they should have them wear a mask, isolate them in a separate space, ensure good ventilation, contact parents, or assist them in returning home promptly to rest and seek medical attention.
3.Sick faculty, staff, and students (or children) should rest at home and can only return to class at least24 hours after the fever has subsided, adhering to the "no work or class when sick" principle..
Fever Health Center Health Education:
1.If a student's fever reaches 38 degrees Celsius (inclusive) or above, parents will be notified to pick up the child for medical diagnosis.
2.Diagnosed with Influenza:It is recommended to return to school after completing the Tamiflu medication. If there is a need to attend school within the 5-day treatment period, it isrecommended to return to class at least 24 hours after the fever has subsided, and to wear a mask until relevant symptoms (cough, muscle aches, runny nose, sore throat) have resolved for 24 hours. During medication, body temperature needs to be monitored at the health center (once in the morning and once in the afternoon).
3.Diagnosed with Common Cold and Fever:It is recommended to return to class at least 24 hours after the fever has subsided, and to wear a mask until relevant symptoms (cough, muscle aches, runny nose, sore throat) have resolved for 24 hours.
4.If a student is absent due to the fever observation period or illness, please contact the homeroom teacher regarding the student's absence before 08:30 on the day of absence.
