| Subject: | To inform you that the Ministry of Education's "2027 Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Promotion of Local Languages" submission deadline has been extended to October 17th of the same year. Please assist in announcing this information, forwarding it, and encouraging your subordinates to recommend participants. Please acknowledge receipt. |
| Explanation: |
| 1. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. TAI-JIAO-SHE(4)-Zi-1142403280 dated September 24, 2025, and this Bureau's letter No. TAO-JIAO-XIAO-Zi-1140072357 dated August 4, 2025 (received). |
| 2. | The award recipients include: |
| (1) | Group Award: Government agencies (institutions), public and private kindergartens, schools, student clubs (teams) recognized by schools, legally established organizations, and corporate entities. |
| (2) | Lifetime Achievement Award and Individual Award: School faculty, staff, students, and individuals actively engaged in the promotion of local languages. |
| 3. | Individuals or groups who have made the following contributions may be recommended for the award by the recommending unit: |
| (1) | Individuals who have long been dedicated to the promotion of local languages and serve as role models for society. |
| (2) | Individuals engaged in the creation, performance, dissemination, or promotion of local languages, whose work is inspiring. |
| (3) | Individuals engaged in the restoration, investigation, research, or publication of local languages, achieving significant results. |
| (4) | Individuals who have made profound contributions through donations to establish or enrich libraries, museums, or other cultural and educational facilities related to local languages. |
| (5) | Organizations that have made outstanding contributions through donations or funding to promote local languages with notable achievements. |
