Announcement Compilation

The Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education will organize the "Implementation Plan for Commending Outstanding Individuals, Schools, and Outstanding Scouts in Promoting Scouting Education in 113-114".

I.In accordance with the letter from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, dated October 8, 114 (Republic of China calendar), Ref. No. 1140103260.
II.Applicants who wish to apply should submit the application form according to the application category of this project by November 3, 114 (Monday), and attach relevant supporting documents to the Bureau for preliminary review. For mailed applications, the postmark will be the determining factor. Late submissions will not be accepted.
III.Schedule for the project's selection process:
(1)Preliminary review: The Bureau will form a preliminary review committee composed of experts and scholars in scouting, representatives from local scouting organizations, and education administrators to conduct the review based on the selection criteria and application materials stipulated in this project.
(2)Final review: The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is expected to complete the final review by the fourth week of January 115 (Republic of China calendar), and the list of awardees for individuals, schools, and outstanding scouts will be announced in the second week of February.
(3)Award ceremony: The award ceremony is scheduled to be held on March 19, 115 (Republic of China calendar) (Thursday).
IV.Individuals and organizations that have received awards within the past 3 years are not eligible to reapply. Furthermore, individuals or organizations falling under any of the following circumstances are not eligible for nomination (including those currently under investigation or processing):
(1)Educational personnel: Those who meet any of the conditions stipulated in Article 31, Paragraph 1, Subparagraphs of the Regulations Governing the Appointment of Educational Personnel, and have been verified as true.
(2)Non-educational personnel: The prohibitive conduct types stipulated in the aforementioned regulations shall apply mutatis mutandis.
(3)Other conduct that violates relevant laws and regulations, and has been verified as true by the school or relevant authorities.
V.The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, reserves the right to conduct on-site visits to individuals and units that have received awards. If any application or nomination is found to be false and verified as true, the award qualification will be revoked, and the original award plaque and certificate will be reclaimed.
