The "Promoting Wood Education Development and Guidance Program" will hold a series of Taiwan wood education-related activities titled "Starting from the Forest" in October-November of this year (114).

| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture, Ref. No. Lin Chan Zi No. 1142440770, dated October 7, 114. |
| II. | To inform potential partners interested in promoting wood education about the agency's wood education promotion policy and to gain a deeper understanding of the entire lifecycle of forest product production, the aforementioned activities are planned to be held between October and November of this year (114). The details of the activities are as follows: |
| (1) | "Starting from the Forest" Taiwan Wood Education - Co-education, Co-creation, Co-prosperity - Wood Education Resource Sharing Session: |
| 1. | Time: October 21, 114. |
| 2. | To present the vision and goals for promoting wood education in Taiwan, and to share existing wood education promotional materials for participants to use in their wood education activities. |
| 3. | Target Audience: Potential wood education promotion units, woodworking/wood art instructors, school teachers, schools and units using domestic timber (e.g., for desks and chairs). |
| 4. | Location: The agency's 2nd-floor International Conference Hall. |
| 5. | Capacity: 150 people. |
| 6. | Civil Servant Learning Hours and Environmental Education Hours: 3 hours each. |
| (2) | "Starting from the Forest" Taiwan Wood Education - Domestic Timber Traceability Tour: |
| 1. | Time: November 1, 114 (Saturday), November 15, 114 (Saturday). |
| 2. | Through the traceability of domestic timber, participants will gain hands-on experience of the growth process of planted forests and learn how to use measurement tools to calculate the carbon sequestration of trees. |
| 3. | Target Audience: Potential wood education promotion units, woodworking/wood art instructors, school teachers, schools and units using domestic timber (e.g., for desks and chairs). |
| 4. | Location: Yongtai Forest (November 1, Wufeng Township, Hsinchu County), Yongzai Forest (November 15, Checheng Township, Pingtung County). |
| 5. | Capacity: 23 people per session, totaling 46 people. |
| 6. | Civil Servant Learning Hours and Environmental Education Hours: 5 hours each on November 1, and 3 hours each on November 15. |
