114 Academic Year Subsidy Plan for Registration Fees for In-service Elementary and Junior High School Teachers Completing the Taiwan Hokkien/Hakka Intermediate-Advanced or Higher Language Proficiency Examination

Subject:Regarding the "114 Academic Year Subsidy Plan for In-service Primary and Junior High School Teachers to Complete Intermediate-Advanced or Higher Taiwanese Hokkien/Hakka Language Proficiency Certification Exams" subsidized by the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration to this Bureau, please refer to the details below for your reference.
Details: 
I.This is handled in accordance with the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration's (hereinafter referred to as the National Education Administration) letter No. 1145500747 dated April 7, 114, and this Bureau's letter No. 11400305501 dated April 15, 114.
II.The key points of the aforementioned matter are summarized as follows:
(I)Target Audience: Full-time teachers (including substitute teachers with a valid teaching certificate and a tenure of 3 months or more, hereinafter referred to as teachers) in public and private primary and junior high schools (including the junior high departments of senior high schools or primary departments) under this Bureau.
(II)The subsidized certification exam sessions under this plan are as follows (schedule in Attachment 1):
1.The 2nd session of the 114 academic year and the 1st session of the 115 academic year Taiwanese Hokkien Language Proficiency Certification Exam, with a subsidy of NT$250 per teacher per exam, limited to taking either the B or C paper.
2.The 2nd session of the 114 academic year and the 1st session of the 115 academic year Hakka Affairs Council Intermediate-Advanced or Higher Hakka Language Proficiency Certification Exam, with a subsidy of NT$250 per teacher per exam.
3.National Cheng Kung University's Spring and Autumn 2025 General Taiwanese Hokkien Certification Exam, with a subsidy of NT$2,800 per teacher per exam, limited to those taking the exam with the "Ministry of Education Taiwanese Hokkien Romanization Phonetic System" test papers.
(III)Application Principles:
1.Teachers who participate in the certification exams designated for subsidy under this plan and do not have any missed sessions or violations are eligible to apply for registration fee subsidies.
2.Teachers who have completed the certification test should apply to their teaching school with supporting documents such as a valid admission ticket with an attendance stamp or a score report. The school should then compile the applications and submit them to this Bureau within the deadline.
(IV)Application Method: Please accurately fill out the subsidy application form (Attachment 2: Financial Statement and Attachment 3: Application List, one copy each) and review the application materials. Calculate the total subsidy amount, affix your seal, and submit it to this Bureau with supporting documents (copies of admission ticket or score report) without a cover letter.
(V)Application Deadline: Please apply by Tuesday, March 31, 115.

1.The applicant's signature is required on the subsidy application list (Attachment 3).
