| 1. | In accordance with the letter from our government dated December 10, 114, Ref: 1140358495. |
| 2. | The Central Weather Administration, to assist central and local government agencies in grasping more detailed land strong wind warning information, successfully conducted a pilot program for the "Township Signal for Land Strong Wind Warning" starting in March of this year (114). It was officially launched in December of the same year. |
| 3. | The "Township Signal for Land Strong Wind Warning" issues strong wind warnings for the next two days with three levels: yellow, orange, and red. The definitions of the signals are as follows: |
| (1) | Yellow Light: Average wind reaches level 6 or gust reaches level 8 or above. |
| (2) | Orange Light: Average wind reaches level 9 or gust reaches level 11 or above. |
| (3) | Red Light: Average wind reaches level 12 or gust reaches level 14 or above. |
| 4. | Land strong wind warning information can be accessed through the Administration's official website, the Life Weather App, and the "Weather Report" Facebook fan page. The Open Data Platform for Meteorological Information (requires application for account and password) and professional meteorological data supply service platforms (by written application) also provide Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) format files for interface, which can be utilized. |
