Ministry of Education, Department of Secondary and Preschool Education, 8th Youth Advisory Committee Youth Representative Member Selection Guidelines

| I. | This is in accordance with the letter No. 1145807467 dated December 24, 114 of the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (hereinafter referred to as the "DOESE"). |
| II. | To promote youth participation in public education affairs, solicit suggestions from youth on public education matters, and establish a policy consultation channel for the DOESE, the DOESE Youth Advisory Committee is hereby established through public selection of youth representatives. |
| III. | The information in the aforementioned selection guidelines is summarized as follows (details in the attachment): |
| (I) | Eligibility: |
| 1. | Youth aged 12 to under 25. Age is calculated as of the appointment date of this committee (April 1, 115), i.e., born between April 2, 91 and April 1, 103. |
| 2. | Have not violated the "Act for the Protection of Children and Youth," the "Gender Equality Education Act," or related laws and regulations. |
| (II) | Application Method: By January 24, 115 (Saturday), prepare the application materials and mail them to "Student Affairs Office, National Yuanlin Agricultural Vocational High School" (No. 313, Sec. 2, YuanShui Rd., Yuanlin City, Changhua County 510011). Please mark "Application for Youth Representative of the 8th DOESE Youth Advisory Committee" on the envelope (postmark as proof), or send the application materials, consolidated into a single PDF electronic file, to the application email address (cindy750831@gmail.com). |
| (III) | Selection Method: Phase 1: Preliminary qualification review, Phase 2: Written review, Phase 3: Interview and final decision. |

| V. | Furthermore, in order to implement the "Convention on the Rights of the Child" and protect children's rights to participation, expression, and access to information, and to ensure that all children can participate equally in public affairs, please ensure that your school disseminates information about the selection of child and youth representatives to students, so that they can apply for selection according to their needs. |
