| 1. | Based on the letter from the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (hereinafter referred to as the "Department") dated December 22, 114, with reference number 1145506538. |
| 2. | To assist newly appointed junior high school Hokkien language teachers in preparing for Hokkien language courses and enhancing their teaching proficiency, enabling them to effectively utilize Hokkien language teaching materials and practical teaching skills, thereby strengthening their teaching abilities and resource utilization in Hokkien language, the Department has requested National Taichung University of Education to organize the aforementioned plan. |
| 3. | The aforementioned plan prioritizes newly appointed junior high school Hokkien language teachers who have not yet obtained Hokkien language expertise. Please encourage eligible teachers from your school to participate and enhance their teaching skills. A summary of the seminar plan is as follows: |
| (1) | Eligibility: Current teachers with a valid junior high school teaching certificate, or substitute teachers with a contract of 3 months or more. In addition to passing the intermediate to advanced (B2) or higher Hokkien language proficiency test, participants must have taught or plan to teach Hokkien language courses in the 114 or 115 academic year, or have experience teaching junior high school Hokkien language courses (including elective courses). |
| (2) | Course Description: |
| 1. | The course will focus on teaching materials suitable for 7th graders. Half-day sessions will be scheduled on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings each month, with each session lasting 4 hours. |
| 2. | Each participant is limited to registering for one session (Wednesday or Saturday). In case of duplicate registrations, the organizer will assign participants to the Wednesday sessions. |
| (3) | Registration: |
| 1. | By January 18, 115 (Sunday), eligible junior high school teachers can register online. Please complete your online registration on the "In-service Teacher Education Information Network" (https://www4.inservice.edu.tw/) within the deadline. If there are remaining spots, teaching assistants who teach more than 3 periods of Hokkien language per week in junior high schools during the official curriculum hours of the 114 academic year will be eligible to participate. |
| 2. | Your school is responsible for granting leave and approving class arrangements for teachers participating in the course. Please ensure that the contact information (including mobile phone and email address) on the "In-service Teacher Education Information Network" is accurate to avoid any issues with notification of registration results and seminar certificates. |
