115 "Indigenous Peoples' Ethnic Education Minor Credit Program"

| Subject: | Forwarding the Ministry of Education's plan to organize the 115 "Indigenous Education Minor Specialization Continuing Education Credit Class." Please submit the required number of participants and a list of in-service teachers who are interested in participating in this continuing education. Please acknowledge receipt. |
| Explanation: |
| 1. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. TTEACHER(III)-1142603743 dated December 26, 114. |
| 2. | This course is organized in accordance with the "Republic of China Teacher Professional Competency Guidelines - Pre-service Teacher Education Stage and Pre-service Teacher Education Curriculum Standards." A minimum of 12 credits must be completed, including "Foundations and Methods of Indigenous Education Courses" and "Indigenous Education Practice Courses." The actual courses offered and their credit hours will be planned by each teacher education university. |
| 3. | The Ministry of Education will coordinate with teacher education universities to plan the aforementioned classes during winter or summer breaks or at suitable times, based on the demand survey and teacher lists. The recommended qualifications are as follows: |
| (1) | Full-time, permanent in-service teachers in senior secondary and below schools who are paid monthly and hold a valid teacher's certificate. |
| (2) | In-service substitute, temporary, or part-time teachers in senior secondary and below schools who hold a valid teacher's certificate and have a contract of three months or more, with proof of employment provided by the school. |
| (3) | Teachers from indigenous experimental education schools and key indigenous schools are encouraged to participate. |
| 4. | Attached are the course structure and core content table (for reference), and the demand and recommendation form for the aforementioned matter, each with one copy. Please reply with the demand and recommendation form by January 9, 115 (Friday) (no reply needed if there is no demand), and send the electronic file to the contact person's email address: tb19030@ms.tyc.edu.tw, for compilation. |
