2026 UN Sustainable Development Goals & STEAM & AI Summer Camp

I.This summer camp aims to encourage students from Grade 9 to Grade 12 to engage with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and science, enhance their English and Chinese oral communication skills, broaden their international perspectives, strengthen their teamwork and execution abilities, and cultivate their confidence and proactive attitude. This is the third year of the summer camp, and it has been featured twice on the Ministry of Education's International Education Information Network for Primary and Secondary Schools in its exciting video section.
II.This summer camp is co-organized by our association and San Francisco State University. Participants will form a group to travel to San Francisco, USA, for international exchange and engage in Project-based Learning (PBL) courses themed around the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and STEAM & AI science. The itinerary includes visits to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in San Francisco, Stanford University, and the University of California, Berkeley. It also includes visits to Silicon Valley and famous landmarks in San Francisco to explore the connection between sustainability and AI technology. Participants will also interact with students from San Francisco State University. Upon completion of the summer camp activities, participants will receive a certificate of completion from San Francisco State University.
III.San Francisco State University is part of the California State University system and is renowned nationwide for its programs in fields such as biological sciences and physical therapy. Its geographical location is adjacent to Silicon Valley, the world's most famous technology hub. San Francisco State University has 7 colleges, including the College of Science & Engineering, College of Professional & Global Education, Lam Family College of Business, Graduate College of Education, College of Health & Social Sciences, College of Creative Arts, and College of Ethnic Studies, offering over 100 majors and degree programs. It ranks 96th among top public universities in the United States and is a well-known institution of higher learning.
IV.The 2026 summer camp dates are from Sunday, July 19, 2026, to Saturday, August 1, 2026. It is suitable for students currently in Grade 9 to Grade 12. The activity brochure is attached. We kindly request you to announce it and encourage eligible students from your school to register. Registration is open from now until March 23, 2026. Spaces are limited. V.Our association will hold an online information session on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM to explain the summer camp plan, eligibility, and registration process. An online Q&A session will also be provided.
