Taoyuan City Implementation Plan for the 115th National Filial Exemplar Award Selection

| I. | In accordance with the "National Filial Piety Award Activity Implementation Plan" of the Ministry of the Interior for 115. |
| II. | The selection and commendation activities mentioned above are as follows: |
| (I) | Eligibility of Nominees: Any citizen of the Republic of China whose filial conduct is located in Taoyuan City, registered in Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, or Matsu, regardless of gender, age, or occupation, whose filial conduct meets the selection criteria and has no adverse record in the past three years; however, those who have previously received this award, or whose family has received this award for the same filial subject, or who have been recognized by central government agencies for related filial conduct within the past five years, are not eligible to participate in the selection again. |
| (II) | Selection Criteria: Nominees who respect their parents and elders, fulfill their filial duties, are recognized by their neighbors, and whose actions are proven to be exemplary, may be selected as filial role models. |
| 1. | According to their actions, they are classified as follows: |
| (1) | Long-term Care Group: Long-term dedicated care for parents and elders, without fear of hardship. |
| (2) | Resource Utilization Group: Utilizing long-term care or other social resources to care for disabled parents and elders, encouraging or actively helping them to recover, rebuild, or maintain their self-care abilities. |
| (3) | Assistance and Realization Group: Caring for parents and elders to maintain their physical health, understanding their feelings, bringing them joy, and encouraging and assisting them in self-realization. |
| (4) | Teamwork Group: Family members jointly caring for parents and elders, strengthening their emotional bonds, and fostering family harmony. |
| (5) | Promoting Filial Piety Group: Publicizing the excellent deeds of parents and elders and their contributions to society; or promoting one's own concrete actions of caring for parents and elders to the neighborhood and community, and enthusiastically providing assistance for others to emulate. |
| 2. | If the concrete filial conduct mentioned in the preceding paragraph is jointly completed with family members, they may be jointly recognized as filial role models. |
| (III) | Submission Deadline and Recommendation Method: |
| 1. | Before 4:00 PM on March 9, 115 (Monday): Recommending units should submit relevant documents to the district offices. |
| 2. | Before 4:00 PM on March 20, 115 (Friday): District offices should mail (or deliver) the preliminary selection candidate (one per district) with hard copy documents to the Academic Affairs Office of Ruifeng Elementary School (Address: No. 40, Lane 933, Section 2, Jièshòu Road, Bādé District, Taoyuan City). The postmark will be the criterion for timeliness; late submissions will not be accepted. Please mark "Taoyuan City XX District 115 Filial Piety Award Selection" on the envelope. |
| 3. | In addition to hard copies, please also provide editable WORD files, scanned PDF files with official seals, and JPG files of photos within the documents. Photo files must not be smaller than 1MB. Please send the electronic files and photo files to the email address of Director Xiao, Academic Affairs Office, Ruifeng Elementary School: tg040050@mail.rfes.tyc.edu.tw. Submissions without electronic files or photo files will not be accepted. |
