2026 Taoyuan Band Carnival "Asia Youth Band Showcase" Concert Taoyuan United Team Performer Selection Guidelines

| I. | The Bureau is organizing the "2026 Taoyuan Wind Music Carnival" with "The Sound of the Wild Herd" as its curatorial theme. The series of events will be held at the Taoyuan Arts Plaza from May 29 to June 7, 115. To promote youth music exchange in Asia, an outdoor concert, "Asian Youth Wind Ensemble Showcase," will be held at 7:00 PM on May 31, 115. |
| II. | The aforementioned concert will be conducted by Professor Hou Yu-Biao of Soochow University's Department of Music (currently the Artistic Director of the Taipei Youth Wind Orchestra and conductor consultant for the ROC Armed Forces Demonstration Band and the Tri-Service Grand Band). Through public auditions, performers will be assembled into the "Taoyuan United Team" to perform alongside Japan's "Shimane Prefectural Shimane Chuo High School Wind Orchestra." We sincerely invite young people in Taoyuan who love wind music to participate and showcase their spirit of cross-border cooperation and artistic sparks. |
