Subject:To promote energy-saving awareness and implement energy-saving actions, our association, in collaboration with the Bureau of Energy, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and ITRI, is organizing the 2026 Wilderness "Good Citizen for Home Energy Saving" Workshop. Please inform your affiliated units and teachers and encourage them to apply.
Description:
1.Since 2005, our association has been promoting the "Summer Solstice Lights Out" campaign, and in 2010, we joined the international initiative with "Earth Hour Lights Out for One Hour." We continue to organize related advocacy activities annually, dedicated to promoting the importance of energy saving, carbon reduction, and climate change adaptation. Furthermore, since 2012, in collaboration with the Bureau of Energy, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and ITRI, we have been conducting energy-saving and carbon-reduction promotion and education in communities, families, organizations, and campuses across all counties and cities, connecting local community energy and practicing lifestyle energy-saving methods.
2.To deepen campus energy-saving education, our association has specifically designed the "2026 Good Citizen for Home Energy Saving" energy-saving workshop for elementary and middle school teachers and students. Through in-depth and easy-to-understand explanations and fun and engaging experiential activities, we will guide you to discover energy-saving actions that can be easily done in daily life, becoming a "smart electricity user" in the modern era. The activity period is from now until June 30, 115 (2026). For detailed activity content and application methods, please refer to the attachment. Please complete your registration by April 30.
3.The content of this activity is closely related to daily life and is presented in a relaxed and diverse format. In addition to elementary and middle school students, it is also suitable for teachers as professional development training. We welcome enthusiastic applications. For information regarding applications and activities, please visit the event website (https://www.sow.org.tw/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=14069).
4.Session quotas are limited. For details, please contact the project contact person: Chia-Ling Wu, Phone: (02)2307-1568, Email: sowedu02@wilderness.tw.
