| I. | In accordance with Taoyuan City Government's letter No. 1150078703, dated March 26, 115. |
| II. | In response to the global net-zero trend and to move towards the city's goal of "50% carbon reduction by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2050," the city's "Carbon Fee (Response) Task Force Project Office" continues to promote green talent cultivation, build systematic learning channels, and assist citizens and enterprises in acquiring the professional capabilities needed for climate action. |
| III. | The "Carbon Fee (Response) Task Force Project Office" is organizing the "Green Talent Special Class Course: Corporate Sustainable Governance and Human Rights Due Diligence." Course information is as follows: |
| (I) | Course Introduction: This course integrates human rights due diligence and just transition with the application of sustainable disclosure standards to build a resilient governance framework and practical implementation pathways. Starting from human rights due diligence, the course establishes international corporate human rights principles and frameworks, and combines them with domestic human rights risks, responsibilities, and social practice measures to assist enterprises in responding to climate and social risks and to lay the groundwork for a just transition. It also analyzes the application of international sustainable disclosure standards through case studies of sustainability reports and special chapters, and grasps the integrated implementation path. |
| (II) | Time: May 7, 115 (Thursday), from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. |
| (III) | Number of Participants: This course is limited to 50 participants. |
| (IV) | Location: 2nd Floor Lecture Hall, Environmental Protection Bureau, Taoyuan City Government (No. 1, Fazhi Rd., Taoyuan Dist., Taoyuan City). |
| (V) | Course Information and Registration Method: Please register on the Taoyuan City Course Registration System (Course Link: https://shorturl.at/OnzFh). You will need to apply for a "Citizen Card App" account. Non-Taoyuan citizens can also register with an account by applying for a "Basic Member" account. |
