| 2. | To deepen human rights values and echo the core competencies of the 108 Curriculum Guidelines, the museum has planned the 2026 "519 Human Rights Fair" series of activities. It is expected that through the immersive visiting experience of the museum venue, young students will be led into historical sites to understand the connotation of universal human rights. Through diverse and accessible fair learning experiences, young students will be guided to recognize the meaning of human rights. |
| 3. | The fair activities are rich in content, integrating a "Theme Fair" and "Museum Visits." They provide diverse outdoor education resources that combine learning and fun, offering teaching resources for human rights education, democratic literacy, life education, and interdisciplinary learning. This event is suitable for schools of all levels to plan outdoor educational visits: |
| (1) | Time: May 19, 2026 (Tuesday) from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. |
| (2) | Location: National Human Rights Museum — Human Rights Avenue, Jing-Mei White Terror Memorial Park. |
| (3) | Diverse Booth Experience: There will be 15 booths from human rights education and cultural groups, with 5 specially planned human rights education promotion challenge stages. Students can grasp basic concepts of human rights through fun interactive games. |
| (4) | Stamp Collection and Exchange: After completing the challenges and collecting stamps, participants can exchange them for limited human rights themed gifts, coupons for food trucks, and general booth discounts. |
| (5) | Immersive Museum Experience: The park preserves complete historical buildings and offers various permanent and special exhibitions. It serves as an important historical site and educational venue for human rights development, which can strengthen democratic literacy and life education. Teachers and students are sincerely welcomed to visit the exhibitions using group tour services or self-guided visits. |
| 4. | Registration Information: |
| (1) | Online Registration: This activity aims to promote human rights education. Entrance to the museum and all fair experiences on the day are free. This event operates on an appointment basis. Please register via the online form (https://forms.gle/Mwq4zPrVbEWwYxQb8). |
| (2) | Museum Guided Services: |
| i. | Guided Group Tours: You can reserve group tour spots for museum visits on the day. Since daily spots are limited, please contact the Museum Guided Tour Office (02-8219-2692) to make an appointment after completing online registration. First-come, first-served. |
| ii. | Audio Guides and Self-guided Exploration: If group tour spots are full, the museum also provide "Personal Audio Guides" for free rental. In addition, teachers and students are sincerely welcomed to utilize the exhibition panels and digital resources in the museum for teacher-led or student-led self-guided exploration to deepen learning outcomes. |
| (3) | Shuttle Bus Service for Schools: To encourage school participation, shuttle bus services will be provided for schools with groups of 30 or more. The services are coordinated by a vendor commissioned by the museum. Due to limited slots, reservations will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Schools are encouraged to plan and apply early. |
