Subject: Forwarding the "114 Academic Year National Elementary and Junior High School Learning Support Teacher Capacity Building Consultation and Diverse Reinforcement Curriculum Module Promotion Plan" by the Department of Education, National Taiwan Normal University, regarding the workshop "Curriculum Design and Practice for Adaptive Learning Support to Promote Student Learning Motivation," for your reference.
Details:
I. In accordance with the letter from National Taiwan Normal University, Department of Education, dated March 23, 115, with reference number 1151007620.
II. The details of the aforementioned activity are summarized below. Please refer to the attached brochure for detailed information:
(I) Objective: To enable learning support/sports class teaching personnel to understand the concept of adaptive education, develop and pilot adaptive curricula, and enhance students' learning interest; to provide supportive consultation and guidance from a professional team to help teaching personnel solve problems in curriculum design and teaching practice; and for non-incumbent teaching personnel to accumulate practical teaching experience through the process of curriculum development and teaching piloting.
(II) Time and Location: Tuesday, April 28, 115, from 14:00 to 16:30. The event will be held online (Google Meet) as a general rule, and may be adjusted to an in-person format depending on the situation.
(III) Participants and Conditions:
1. Undergraduate students in their second year or above (including fifth-year interns and graduate students) who possess teaching knowledge and skills in Mandarin, Mathematics, or English at the junior high school level.
2. Teaching personnel for junior high school learning support/sports classes, including: full-time teachers, substitute teachers, educational interns, and pre-service teachers.
3. Group registration (2-5 people) is preferred, and groups can be formed across subjects and schools. At least one member of the group must have completed the learning support teacher training course.
4. Participants are required to continue to participate in the subsequent development and piloting of adaptive learning support curricula (approximately 3 sessions, actual discussion sessions will be planned based on needs).
5. Participants are required to share their curriculum development and implementation results in June-July 115 (tentative).
(IV) Registration Method: By Wednesday, April 22, 115, fill out Attachment 1 of the brochure (preliminary curriculum design ideas) and email it to trico@ntnu.edu.tw.
(V) Number of Teams to be Admitted: Based on the evaluation of the participating teams' curriculum design ideas, 4 teams will be admitted in order of application.
III. The list of admitted teams will be announced on Friday, April 24, 115, on the project website (https://sites.google.com/view/priori-ntnu/) and notified via email.
