| 1. | The city actively promotes policies of "Free Nutritious Lunches," "Safe and Nutritious Ingredients," and "Use of Local Ingredients." Through the "Lunch with Local Ingredients for Healthy Calcium ~ Campus Michelin Cuisine Competition," we aim to encourage the inclusion of diverse calcium-rich ingredients and dishes in school lunches, allowing school nutritionists and chefs to showcase their talents in creating nutritious, healthy, and delicious school meals. The competition and observation will also enhance the professional skills of nutritionists in meal design and chefs in culinary arts. |
| 2. | The aforementioned plan is as follows: |
| (1) | Registration and submission period: From now until May 8, 2027 (Friday). |
| (2) | Eligibility: |
| 1. | Schools are the units of participation, with each school limited to one team. Each team consists of 2 members: 1 chef (must hold a Class C Chinese Cuisine Technician license) and 1 school lunch-related personnel (nutritionist, lunch executive secretary, or teacher). |
| 2. | Contestants must be the same as in the submitted written materials; no substitutions are allowed (2 official team members, 2 substitutes: 1 chef, 1 school lunch-related personnel). Violation will result in disqualification. |
| (3) | Preliminary round: Schools in the city and contracted school lunch vendors (registering as schools) will have the list of teams selected for the finals announced on May 15, 2027 (12 teams). |
| (4) | Final round: Live cooking and practical demonstration will be held at Vanung University on June 6, 2027. |
| 3. | Permission is granted for participating personnel to register for official (business) leave for the final round and award ceremony (June 6 and June 21, 2027), two days in total. Related travel expenses shall be borne by each school in accordance with regulations. If these dates fall on a weekend, compensatory leave may be taken within one year. |
| 4. | Schools in the city with nutritionists must form teams to participate. If there are special reasons preventing participation, please formally report to the Bureau in writing and state the reasons. |
