As the weather gradually becomes hotter in May, coinciding with the flood season and the graduation season for schools at all levels in the city, students have increased opportunities to come into contact with water bodies after school and on holidays, and the risk of drowning also increases. Please pay attention to water safety to avoid accidents.
| (1) | Choose legal and safe water areas: When playing in or engaging in water activities, you should choose legal, safe places with life-saving equipment and professional lifeguards. Those who are not familiar with swimming should wear life jackets correctly. |
| (2) | Stay away from dangerous and emerging hidden spots: Do not go to unattended or declared dangerous waters for recreation. In recent years, there has been an increasing trend of drowning incidents among students going to "emerging hidden spots." These locations are often remote and difficult to rescue, and accidents are prone to occur due to unfamiliarity with water conditions. Strict precautions should be taken. |
| (3) | Pay attention to weather and water environment: When participating in water activities, pay special attention to the daily weather and environmental changes. Avoid engaging in activities under unstable weather, strong winds and waves, or rising river levels. Also, follow the instructions of the on-site staff. |
| (4) | Go with companions and adult supervision: When playing in the water, please have parents or adults accompany you. Avoid playing alone or with friends without supervision. |
| (5) | Correct rescue concept: When you see someone drowning, shout loudly and seek help (e.g., call 119). Do not rashly jump into the water to rescue them. |
