Notification of the amendments to Articles 25 and 53 of the Teachers Act, as promulgated by Presidential Order Hua-Zong-Yi-Yi No. 11500042691, dated May 13, 115.

| I. | This is handled in accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1150049799, dated May 19, 115. |
| II. | Considering that teachers temporarily suspended from their positions are not voluntarily ceasing work, and if they are ultimately not dismissed or permanently suspended after investigation and are reinstated, it is difficult to fully maintain their basic living needs if only their basic salary (seniority salary) during the suspension period is paid. Therefore, Articles 25 and 53 of the Teachers Act have been amended to stipulate that if a teacher is temporarily suspended for investigation and is ultimately not dismissed or permanently suspended and is reinstated, the basic salary (seniority salary) and academic research allowance during the suspension period shall be paid retroactively, and this shall take effect from the date of promulgation to protect the rights and interests of teachers. |
