| 1. | This year, our association is collaborating with nine organizations to host five animal protection teacher workshops. These organizations include the National Laboratory Animal Center of the National Applied Research Laboratories, the Department of Public Affairs at the University of Taipei, the Animal Protection Association of Taiwan, Xingguo Junior High School in Yilan County, the Life Education Center in Yilan County, the USR Center of National Chung Hsing University (under the project "Boundless Love: Reducing Stray Animal Population and Practicing Animal Welfare"), Neighbor Fresh Eggs, Yu Cheng Algae Eggs, and the Society for the Study of Animals and Humans in Taiwan. The workshops will focus on animal issues, emphasizing the implementation of animal protection in life education, science education, and agricultural education. This year's theme is "Let's Protect Them Together," aiming to guide teachers in re-understanding the meaning of "protection." More importantly, each session includes visits to animal-friendly institutions, led by experienced animal protection practitioners. We hope that through lectures and site visits, participating teachers will be inspired to develop innovative teaching ideas and motivation, leading to deeper and more practical discussions on integrating animal protection education. |
