Notification to civil servants and teachers holding administrative positions on the requirement to apply for permission when going to mainland China during their leave of absence

| I. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1150074596, dated August 3, 115. |
| II. | According to the Regulations on Public Servants' Leave of Absence, personnel on leave of absence still retain their status as public servants. Therefore, relevant travel to mainland China should still be subject to prior application for permission and completion of relevant procedures. If a public servant on leave of absence is seconded to a non-administrative agency (such as a foundation), their travel to mainland China should be applied for to their original agency and approved. |
| III. | "Teachers concurrently holding administrative positions" are also subject to the Civil Service Act. Those who apply for leave of absence under the Regulations on Leave of Absence for Educational Personnel and travel to mainland China during their leave period should also comply with relevant regulations. |
| IV. | Please use various channels such as internal public meetings to strengthen the publicity that personnel on leave of absence are still subject to the Civil Service Act, and that travel to mainland China should be subject to application for permission or completion of relevant procedures, to avoid disciplinary action for violating relevant laws and regulations. |
