| II. | To enable public servants to make correct value judgments and understand potential legal responsibilities when encountering issues in engineering projects, the New Taipei City Government's Department of Government Ethics has developed the "New Taipei Youth Engineering Ethics and Integrity Forum" course, based on the "5th New Taipei Youth Engineering Ethics and Integrity Forum" jointly organized by the New Taipei City Government, Tamkang University's Center for Engineering Law Research and Development, and the Department of Civil Engineering. This course has been uploaded to the "e-Learning for Public Servants+" website. The course content focuses on real-world cases of private and public engineering problems, inviting experts and scholars from industry, government, and academia to discuss engineering issues and the attribution of legal responsibilities from multiple perspectives. This aims to strengthen engineering ethics and legal concepts, enhance integrity awareness, and ensure that public servants administer the law and act with dedication. |
