To enhance national security awareness among all citizens, the Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Justice is organizing the "Echoes and Light: Gazing at the Pulse of the Island" National Security Online Film Exhibition.

| II. | To enhance the public's attention to national security issues and strengthen national defense and security awareness, the Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Justice is holding an online film festival on national security, "Echoes and Light: Gazing at the Pulse of the Island," in an engaging and entertaining manner. Nine high-quality audio-visual works covering national security issues such as geopolitics, cybersecurity, freedom of speech, and social resilience have been selected for the public to watch online for free. |
| III. | Information regarding this event is as follows: |
| (I) | Film Festival Period: From 10:00 on Wednesday, August 19, 115, to 24:00 on Sunday, December 20, 115. |
| (II) | Film Festival Website: https://mjib.catchplay.com. |
| (III) | Event Content: The film festival will offer free online viewing of nine films on the dedicated website during the festival period. Institutions, schools, or groups can apply for public screenings. Additionally, starting from late September, the event will simultaneously host a monthly quiz activity "Decoding the Pulse" and a short essay competition "Short Admonitions for a Free Island" on the online website. Participants have a chance to win exquisite prizes. |
| IV. | Please assist in publicizing the following matters: |
| (I) | Promote through diverse channels: Please utilize various channels operated by the institution, such as social media platforms, communication software like LINE official accounts, electronic marquees, and bulletin boards, to help publicize the event information and the electronic poster (as attached). |
| (II) | Internal promotion and outreach: Please inform and encourage colleagues, teachers, and students to actively watch the films online, or apply for public screenings for on-site viewing at the institution, and participate in interactive activities such as the quiz and the short essay competition. |
