Notify the Executive Yuan's letter, encouraging public servants to actively register for the "Public Service AI Common Core Competency Certification"

| I. | This is handled in accordance with the Executive Yuan's letter No. 1153028556 dated September 11, 115, with a copy of the original letter attached. Additionally, this Administration's letters No. 1130243076 dated August 30, 113, No. 1140228967 dated August 18, 114, and No. 1150169838 dated June 17, 115, are hereby forwarded. |
| II. | To encourage colleagues to learn about artificial intelligence (hereinafter referred to as AI) knowledge, all agencies and schools shall, in accordance with Article 18 of the Civil Service Training and Development Act, consider business needs and funding availability to subsidize colleagues' participation in AI training costs. Furthermore, to incentivize colleagues to apply AI in their work, agencies and schools may establish their own reward mechanisms in accordance with the Civil Service Performance Act, the Executive Yuan and its subordinate agencies' (institutions') Guidelines for Rewarding Major Project Implementation, the Civil Service Incentive Regulations, and this Administration's and its subordinate agencies' and schools' Regulations for Handling Civil Servant Reward and Punishment Cases, to provide diverse incentives for those who have achieved outstanding results in promoting the practical application of AI. |
| III. | Information regarding the aforementioned certification has been posted on the Executive Yuan's Directorate-General of Personnel Administration website (https://www.dgpa.gov.tw) in the "AI Civil Servant Development Office Special Zone." To continue promoting and encouraging colleagues to obtain the "Common Core Competency Certification for Civil Servants in AI," agencies are requested to consider subsidizing the certification examination fees, granting official leave for examination, and utilizing diverse channels for promotion, based on the availability of budget and funding. |
