| I. | To enhance teachers' professional knowledge and broaden their macroscopic international perspective, this city will continue to implement the aforementioned plan and encourage teachers to pursue professional development, aiming to cultivate outstanding educational talents and benefit all students in this city. |
| II. | The key points of this plan are summarized as follows: |
| (1) | Eligibility and Categories: |
| 1. | Eligibility: Currently employed full-time qualified teachers and administrative personnel (referring to teachers with administrative duties and principals) in public schools and kindergartens at all levels in this city, who have served in this city for seven years (inclusive) or more within the last ten years, or have accumulated a total of eight years of service, and have served in their current school for two years or more (including national schools before affiliation changes), and have no record of violating the provisions of Chapter 4 of the Teachers Act and related regulations (years of service are calculated up to July 31 of the application year). |
| 2. | Application Categories: |
| (1) | General Teacher and Administrative Personnel Category: Individuals with outstanding performance in teaching excellence, administrative innovation, student counseling, or administrative service and educational experience sharing during their service period. |
| (2) | Bilingual Teacher Category: Individuals with two or more years of bilingual teaching experience in schools in this city, with outstanding achievements. |
| (2) | Professional Development Schedule and Number of Awards: |
| 1. | Professional Development Schedule: From July 1, 116 to August 31, 117, professional development will be undertaken on a semester or summer break basis. The schedule will be planned based on the necessity of professional development, with a maximum duration of six months. |
| 2. | Number of Awards: Annually, the General Teacher and Administrative Personnel Category will award six teachers and three administrative personnel. The Bilingual Category will award three teachers (several alternates may be selected for each category). The quotas for each category may be interchanged. If the award standards are not met, the number of recipients may be less than the quota or exceed the quota. |
| (3) | Funding: In addition to salary, the Bureau will subsidize NT$35,000 for full-time teachers and administrative personnel selected for full-time professional development and research, to cover related expenses during the domestic or international professional development and research period. The expenditure will be reimbursed based on relevant regulations. |
| (4) | Precautions: |
| 1. | After the professional development and research period, a report on the results of the professional development and research must be submitted within two months. For overseas professional development, proof of entry and exit dates (e.g., copy of electronic air ticket) must be attached. If there are valid reasons, an extension of one month for submission may be granted upon approval by the Bureau through the school's official report, with a maximum of one extension. |
| 2. | During the professional development and research period, if it is verified that the research location, purpose, or content of the award recipient does not match the originally approved plan, the Bureau may require the recipient to return the salary and all subsidies received during the professional development and research period. |
| 3. | Award recipients are required to share their research findings through teaching activities (2 sessions for semester professional development, 1 session for summer break professional development). One session can be held at their original school or one session can be held off-campus (online seminars are also acceptable and can be combined with project briefing sessions). Relevant explanatory materials and supporting photos should be submitted, and after completion, reported to the Bureau for record. Bilingual teachers may choose to produce at least one lesson plan and teaching video, and cooperate with the revision and upload to the special zone of the city's English teaching resource center, as a substitute for one teaching sharing session, which should be submitted to the Bureau along with the results report. |
| III. | Schools (including kindergartens) are requested to recommend outstanding teachers to actively apply. Application forms and other materials should be submitted to the organizing school, Qingxi Junior High School, by November 30, 115 (Monday). |
