2026 Taiwan Girls' Day Series Activities - Girls' Day Empowerment Camp

| I. | In response to the United Nations' initiative to value the investment and empowerment of girls, and to protect girls' human rights and well-being, our country has designated October 11th annually as "Taiwanese Girls' Day" to promote girls' rights and deepen society's emphasis on gender equality. |
| II. | This bureau's theme for this year (2026) is "Girls and Climate Action." We are organizing a series of activities, including empowerment camps and online advocacy, to guide girls in independent thinking, social participation, and sustainable action through climate-related issues, fostering their confidence and diverse development capabilities. Information on the empowerment camps is as follows: |
| (I) | First session: |
| 1. | Target audience: Female students from 4th grade of elementary school to vocational high school in this city. |
| 2. | Theme: "Extreme Weather Survival Story." |
| 3. | Time: October 17, 2026 (Saturday), 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. |
| 4. | Location: Chiying Senior High School (447 Zhongyuan Rd, Zhongli Dist, Taoyuan City). |
| (II) | Second session: |
| 1. | Target audience: Female students from vocational high school in this city. |
| 2. | Theme: "Cool Magic Maker." |
| 3. | Time: October 18, 2026 (Sunday), 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. |
| 4. | Location: Yangming Senior High School, Taoyuan City (8 Deshou St, Taoyuan Dist, Taoyuan City). |
| III. | Registration for the event is open from now until 5:00 PM on October 12, 2026. Each session is limited to 40 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will be notified separately after their eligibility has been reviewed. For registration methods and event details, please refer to the attached brochure. |
| IV. | We kindly request your school to assist in disseminating this information through your school's website, class groups, electronic bulletin boards, or other appropriate channels, and to encourage eligible female students to register enthusiastically. |
