I.To deeply cultivate students' musical and artistic literacy and broaden their international horizons, our company has specially invited the "National Opera of Ukraine Orchestra," a top Eastern European artistic institution with a 159-year history, to Taiwan for the first time during this year-end season. The performance will be personally conducted by the orchestra's Music Director, Mykola Dyadyura, who will lead four distinguished Ukrainian opera vocalists. Additionally, Taiwan's internationally renowned "Formosa Singers" have been specially invited to join on stage. Together, with a grand ensemble of nearly a hundred musicians, they will perform the pinnacle of classical music – Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 (Choral). This program is not only a supreme model of classical symphony and choral art but also, amidst the current turbulent times, the orchestra uses its moving music to pray for freedom and peace, possessing immense value for life education and aesthetic education. It is highly recommended for all levels of schools as a subject for artistic appreciation, observation for music classes, and extracurricular teaching.
II.Performance Highlights:
