1. Background:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1152100991B dated October 29, 2026.
2. The aforementioned activity is summarized as follows:
(1) Participants:
1. Groups: Groups (excluding schools and government agencies/organizations) that have made significant contributions to the promotion, development, or sponsorship of ocean education, including legally established (or registered) associations, corporations, enterprises, or businesses.
2. Individuals: Individuals who have made significant contributions to the promotion, development, or sponsorship of ocean education.
3. Curriculum Teaching Teams: Teacher teams from elementary, junior high, and senior high schools that have demonstrated innovative features in implementing ocean education.
(2) Each recommending unit should provide specific achievements of the recommended groups or individuals and supporting documentation. Recommendations should be submitted in writing to this bureau. The recommendation procedures and required documents are as follows:
1. Each recommending unit should submit the recommendation form (Attachments I and II), along with relevant supporting documents and written evidence, to this bureau by the specified date. Please complete the recommendation form (divided into forms for groups and individuals) in accordance with the following regulations to facilitate the review process:
(1) For the "Introduction of Recommended Group" or "Introduction of Recommended Individual" section, the recommending unit should write a short essay of approximately 600 to 800 characters with a title, briefly introducing the significant contributions of the recommended party, their years of experience in ocean education, and their impact on ocean education.
(2) For the "Important Contributions" section, focus on significant achievements that have greatly contributed to ocean education. Describe these achievements in detail and chronologically according to their occurrence.
(3) For the "Recommendation Opinion" section, please briefly list the reasons for the recommendation.
(4) The recommending unit should complete the relevant information, affix its official seal in the "Recommending Unit" column, and prepare supporting documents, evidence, and activity photos for reference.
(5) One CD containing the recommendation form and related supporting documents in Word and PDF formats, as well as 10 to 20 JPG photos with a resolution of 300 dpi or higher.
2. Applications that do not comply with the recommendation procedures, are submitted after the deadline (postmark date applies), or are incomplete will not be accepted.
